Happy to say i have completed the layout of my first children's book. The print version of "Milton's Moment" is out in stores now. I am working on the ebook version of this book next, it will be a fixed layout for the kindle. This 32 page layout required heavy photo retouching, new layout created on Indesign CS6 with lots of fun spreads.  All of the images now have transparent backgrounds which allowed freedom for blending new digitally created artwork for master pages to blend with hand made illustrations created by original artist.

UI & UX design : WIN MyFinance

 This is a personal finance app that a user can quickly access his/her financial accounts such as bank accounts, stock accounts, home/car loans, and retirement account. I was asked to give the current design a facelift and provide some ideas that would help the user experience.In this particular case this is a windows forms application.

The first thing needed was organizing each step and its functions. The user experience needed to stay all in on screen with no pop ups. The accounts summary became an option that would hold not only account information, but also the ability to add, edit and or remove new accounts. 

 

SUSHISAMBA email blast design

I was asked to come up with a creative design for an email blast for SUSHISAMBA. After several designs, the last was my final choice to submit to the client. I like all three designs, but I especially love the way the last one looks on mobile devices.
